Archiving the Inner City: Race and the politics of urban memory

The Department of Sociology at University of York is hosting a symposium for PhD researchers and early career researchers. It is linked to a Leverhulme Trust funded project titled ‘Archiving the Inner City’ led by Dr Gareth Millington.
The symposium will be of interest to scholars from a range of disciplines in social sciences, humanities and arts whose research relates to the interrelating topics of the inner city, archives and archiving, race, memory, heritage and authenticity.
